How to collect trip photos

  1. Create a gallery. Enter the trip name and your email. Your browser generates an encryption key and includes it in your private link. Your first 50 photos are free, with no payment card required.
  2. Share the link. Send the link or QR code in a group message so everyone has it.
  3. Download your photos. After returning, everyone can download individual photos or the complete ZIP archive.

Why use a QR gallery for trips?

For trips, holidays and shared adventures

FotoQR works for day trips, group holidays, cabin stays, weekends away, hikes and road trips: anywhere a group wants to bring its photos together in one shared, private gallery.

Frequently asked questions

How do we collect trip photos from the whole group?

Create a FotoQR gallery for the trip and send its link or QR code in a group message. Everyone scans or opens it and uploads directly from their phone, without an app or an account.

Does everyone need to install an app?

No. Scanning the QR code or opening the link opens a regular web page. It works on iPhone and Android, with no installation or login needed to upload photos.

How many photos can a trip gallery hold?

The free gallery holds 50 photos. For a longer holiday or larger group, buy an expansion to add 100, 300 or 1,000 photos and more storage.

How long will trip photos be available?

The free gallery lasts 7 days. Buying an expansion extends validity by 30 days, giving everyone time to download everything. Once it expires, the gallery and its encrypted files are automatically deleted.

Are trip photos private?

Yes. Each photo is encrypted in the browser, so only unreadable data reaches the server. Only the group with the link or QR code can view the gallery; nothing is posted on social media.

Does FotoQR work without internet on a trip?

You need an internet connection to upload and download photos. You can upload whenever you regain a signal or connect to Wi-Fi, so you do not need connectivity to take photos during the trip.
